Joan Stavropoulos: That really stinks you cant use tampons. It wont suck at the Amusement park unless you make it! Sure you can't go on the water rides but you will still have a ton of fun on the other rides :) I would suggest bringing a small kit with 6 pads. That is probably way more then you will need but it's better safe then sorry! Also through in some advil/midol in case you get some cramps or headaches. No one wants to be around a cranky girl on their period who wont stop complaining! I hope this helped and have fun :)...Show more
George Dingeldein: your period wont last for long so dont worry and u should never use tampons as they are bad and can cause an infection inside you, also if you want to swim then go for it my friend did it when she was on and nothing happens ppl say u need to but that is only for when u r heavy so dont worry u might leak a little but i would just stick with pads
Roosevelt Pendill: Tampons are always my first choice for anyth! ing since they rarely leak, but since it is your first that could be a problem. Honestly, you really cant swim at all because it would leak out. I guess my advice would be to avoid water, or use a tampon. Even if your flow IS very light, it could be like this just because it is your first....Show more
Amina Motzer: My first one only lasted 3 or 4 days, so maybe yours will be gone by then? If not, you're going to need tampons, no matter what your mom says. You can't wear pads in water.
Danyell Rowback: Just go to the restroom alot, like once an hour and bring the pills for cramps
Billie Bratchett: Since it's your first one it may not even last that long. They make "lite" tampons, but I wouldn't suggest since it's your first one.But if you still have it when you go, I would just avoid water and bring a few extra pads and change them every few hours depending on how heavy your flow is.You may want to bring and extra pair of undies just in case! And maybe some a! spirin if your having any pain.Hope you have fun! Felicitas Phildor: It may not last until then, but bring about 4-5 pads. Change them every 3-4 hours, and bring extra undies just in case!
