Lulu Bukowiecki: hmm, strange your parents dont want to get their license.. I am in the honors program at my college and am currently commuting there since its really close. I plan on transferring to a school not very far away but i am going to stay at a dorm because i would like the experience. I had to take the bus at first and i HATED it. I saved my money for a little while and my parents helped me buy a new car. If your going to commute, i would r! ecommend getting a car. Metro sucks lol. I felt like the time i spent waiting and riding the bus was a waste of my life.. Felt like that time couldve been used to study. Man 90 minutes on a bus each way is pretty crazy.. 3 hours a day, 4 days a week for 16 weeks a semester. 2 semesters a year, for 4 years. By the time you get a 4 year degree you will have spent 1536 hours or 64 days or about 2 months riding the bus.....Show more
