Refugio Gastineau: I'm gonna try to get my mom to answer this when she gets home. She was born in 1926. So she was 19 in 1945 when the war ended. I often ask her stuff about it myself.

Dionna Doyel: In Britain, entertainment was popular and necessary. Despite the continuous bombing people went to the cinemas, theatres, music halls and dances. It took their mind off the war and brightened up their lives, therefore it i! ncreased morale during the darkest days of the War.
