What stores buy used books?

answers1:Good luck finding a brick and mortar store to buy your books.
Retailers will definitely not buy them. You may have some luck with
independent or used bookstores, but that depends entirely on the type
of books you wish to sell. Most are looking for rare books or books
about particular niche subjects, not standard paperbacks that you can
find anywhere. Some stores in the Sacramento area are Beer Books, The
Avid Reader, Time Tested Books, and Barry Cassidy Used Books. You can
find information about them online. There are tons of reliable
websites to sell your books, scams are actually extremely rare. You
can put them up for sale yourself, choosing the price, on sites like
Amazon, Ebay, or BetterWorldBooks. You also have the option to
directly sell them to Amazon or BetterWorldBooks and receive an
immediate payment, though this is usually less than what you would get
selling them yourself. Yes, you are responsible for shipping the
items, but it's really not a difficult process. I buy and sell used
books online all the time. You may also want to consider swap
websites. Swap.com is the best. You list items (books, DVDs, games,
etc) that you wish to exchange as well as items that you wish to
acquire and the site will match you with people who have what you want
and want what you have. So instead of payment you get a different
media item that you want. I use this site as well and it has been very
successful....Show more
