Fashion design schools?

Bud Espenshade: The two best schools for fashion design are the Fashion Institute of Technology, and Parson School of Design. Both are in NYC. Others that are good are Kent State U, Purdue West Lafayette, Drexel, RISD, U Cincinnati. But FIT and Parsons are "wow". It's hard to get a job in this field. Going to a strong school will help you. Coleman Ocegueda: Most people with this major will never work in fashion. There are just not many jobs for designers. Therefore, you need to go to the top school and develop the best contacts. This means the Fashion Institute of Technology in NYC. This college is actually part of the State University System (SUNY). These is no better fashion college than FIT.
