Greek Theater?

answers1: You want to know about ANCIENT theaters? Or just ANY
theater? There are many ancient theaters in Greece that you can visit
as a tourist. They are all basically the same shape and style,
semi-circular and built into the side of a hill. The most famous and
largest, Epidaurus, still shows performances of the ancient Greek
plays. There are also theaters in Phillipi and Thassos where you can
see such plays. <br>

Some theaters, like in Athens, show modern entertainment performances.
The theater of Herodos Atticus hosts the theatrical, musical, and
dance components of the Athens Festival, which runs each year from
June through September. It also hosted Yanni's "Live at the
Acropolis" performance in September of 1993.
